Overview
About this workshop.
Malaysia's National Sustainability Reporting Framework brings IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 into corporate reporting on a phased timetable. For most teams the difficulty is not reading the standards, it is implementing them: deciding who owns each disclosure, agreeing where the information comes from, and being able to show the evidence behind every number.
This two-day workshop takes a case company through all four disclosure pillars and then connects them into one consistent set of disclosures. Every session pairs a short explanation of what the standard asks for with an exercise participants complete themselves, including a governance structure and RACI, a risk-to-financial-effect map, a sustainability risk register, a metrics and targets selection, and a connected disclosure map.
Participants finish by drafting a high-level IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 implementation roadmap, with prioritised gaps, owners, milestones and dependencies, that they can take back for internal discussion. The programme builds capability using a case company: it is not a review of an organisation's own disclosures, which Scout360 handles separately through its reporting and advisory services.

Sustainability, finance, risk, investor relations and company secretarial teams preparing IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 disclosures, together with the operational data owners who supply the underlying information. Board members and senior managers responsible for oversight also attend, particularly for the governance and strategy sessions.
No. The programme is written for beginner and intermediate participants and starts from what the standards ask for before moving into implementation. Participants who already work on sustainability reporting will get more out of the exercises, but no completed reporting cycle is assumed.
This programme covers IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 together, across all four pillars, for organisations building their overall disclosure process. The IFRS S2 workshop goes further into climate specifically: physical and transition risks, scenario analysis and climate metrics and targets. Teams often attend this workshop first and the IFRS S2 workshop once climate disclosure becomes the priority.
No. The exercises run on a case company, so participants can practise without putting confidential information in front of the room. Work on an organisation's actual disclosures is a separate advisory engagement.
Dates and venues are confirmed for each intake. Tell us roughly how many participants you expect and we will confirm the next available session, or arrange an in-house run for your organisation alone. In-house delivery follows the same programme and can be adapted to your sector, reporting maturity and participant responsibilities.
