Overview

About this workshop.

IFRS S2 asks an organisation to explain how climate change affects its business, not simply to report emissions. That means naming the physical and transition risks that actually matter, describing their effect on the business model, strategy and financial position, testing resilience under scenarios, and supporting every metric and target with information someone owns.

This two-day workshop implements IFRS S2 on a case company, beginning with the IFRS S1 requirements that cascade into climate disclosure and then working through governance, the climate risk and opportunity universe, strategic and financial implications, climate resilience and scenario analysis, the climate risk register, and climate metrics, GHG emissions and targets.

Participants finish with an IFRS S2 disclosure map and a high-level implementation roadmap showing which disclosures are supported today, which are not, and what evidence each one still needs. The scenario work in the session is illustrative and built for practice: it is not a prediction of any organisation's future position.
